dVault Posts And Pedestals

Heavy-duty dVault mailboxes are designed with a Universal Mounting Plate that allows for easy configuration between mailboxes and posts. All posts and pedestals are available in all finishes so that mailboxes can match their stands perfectly. No matter what installation preference: post mount, column mount, wall mount, or freestanding, there is a perfect dVault combination for every location.

By Installation Type

Post Mount Installation

dVault offers post mount mailboxes in small, medium, and large capacity. The Mail Protector Vault, Weekend Away Vault, and Parcel Protector Vault can all be mounted on top of a post. The Weekend Away Vault has the most flexible post mount options and can also be mounted to the side of a post. See above and in-ground installation options for each below:

Column Mount Installation

Almost all dVault models can be installed in a column; the only exceptions are the Mail Protector Vault (post mount) and the Package Drop Vault (wall mount). Column installation is often completed by a professional and installation examples can be viewed below:

Wall Mount Installation

Wall mount installation is available for two dVault models: the Package Drop Vault and Package Drop Vault Plus. Wall mount installation allows packages to be delivered outside of the building and dropped inside of the building (either loosely or into a locked collection area). The Package Drop Vault and Package Drop Vault Plus are designed to fit between 16” wall studs in external walls and require professional installation.

Freestanding Installation

All extra large capacity mailboxes can be installed as freestanding units: the Full Service Vault, Deposit Vault, and Collection Vault. Both the Deposit Vault and Collection Vault can also be elevated by a 10” steel pedestal.
